I attended Chaffey College, received my BA from University of Phoenix, and then received my Masters at University of Redlands.
I am currently working on my Doctorate in Education at UMASS Global University.
It is only through dedication, commitment, and a strong sense of discipline that an individual achieves greater success in higher education. I have those qualities as part of my personality and makeup.
Asistí al Colegio Chaffey, Bachillerato de la Universidad de Phoenix, Maestría de la Universidad de Redlands. Actualmente estoy trabajando en mi Doctorado en Educación en la Universidad Global UMASS. Es sólo a través de la dedicación, el compromiso y un fuerte sentido de la disciplina que un individuo logra un mayor éxito en la educación superior. Juliet tiene esas cualidades como parte de ella personalidad y fortaleza.
I am not only a great friend to those who know me, but also I am a civic-minded individual. I am active in my neighborhood, and mindful of the needs in my overall City of Montclair.
It is this type of civic and social commitment that is needed for our city.
In 2021, Soroptomist Montclair/Inland Valley was proud to select Candace Davis for our award recipient of Live Your Dream. It was my honor to be the Chair for 2021 and 2022. The service we provide the community is what I am most proud to be part of this organization.
Juliet no solo es una gran amiga para quienes la conocen, sino que también es una persona cívica. Ella es activa no solo en su vecindario, sino que también es consciente de las necesidades en general de la Ciudad de Montclair. No solo es este tipo de compromiso cívico y social el que necesita la Ciudad de Montclair, sino también para todas las ciudades de los alrededores.
I have been married to my husband, Javier, for 37 years. We raised four boys who attended Montclair schools, and are proud to have one granddaughter.
Casada con su esposo Javier durante 37 años, y crió a 4 niños que asistían a las escuelas de Montclair, y está orgullosa de tener una nieta.
My brother Carlos was a former U.S. Marine. He was a Fire Captain until his death in 2019. I fully support our Fire and Police Departments.
I know how important it is to ensure they have our full support and everything they need to protect the city.
Mi hermano Carlos fue un ex soldado de la Marina de los EE.UU. Fue Capitán de Bomberos hasta su muerte en 2019. Estoy muy apegada a nuestros Departamentos de Bomberos y Policía. Sé lo importante que es asegurarles que cuentan con todo nuestro apoyo y que tengan todo lo que necesitan para proteger la ciudad.
My niece Julia has been in the U.S. Navy for three years. She is a Third Class Petty Officer. We are very proud that she has received four awards:
